Description
As promised, here's my info on Aegistis. It's not yet final, and I have to update her info as soon as I can.

Aegistis was adopted by the Hawthorne household- an affluent, noble family; a member of Pandora and one of the allies of the Reinsworths, although not as grand and powerful as the four duke houses. The head of the house of Hawthorne- Caelus- and his wife, Laverna had no children of their own, so upon the arrival of a young, abandoned and wounded orphan who ONLY remembers her name and age, she was officially adopted into the powerful household as under the insistence of a desperate, childless woman; claimed as a true Hawthorne and a bearer of that family name until time requires for her to marry a fellow noble.

Upon her eighteenth year of existence, she was introduced to Pandora, an organization created by the four dukedoms in order to investigate the Abyss, to manage Illegal contractors and even to spy on each other, where she shall be working for as her adoptive parents have done. She had acquired contract with a Chain named Basilisk- a legendary black serpent, with metallic scales and unusually white wings- using the method devised by Pandora in terms of creating a contract with a chain in order not to make her an Illegal Contractor. Upon doing so eventually marked the official beginning of her involvement with Pandora, usually battling with Illegal Contractors and submitting paperworks of tedious reports regarding such encounter (which pisses her off, actually). However, she fairly knows everyone in the group except Liam, the Reinsworths and Xerxes whom she and her family has acquianted. This was due to the fact that she was always battling against those Illegal contractors, or if not, she travels or she spends time with her delusional adoptive mother. However, as Sharon had claimed, which seems to be another fundamental reason, Aegistis was running away from paperworks and other meticulous reports; even new assignments.

It was also this moment when she first encounters Gilbert Nightray, whom she describes as a man with sullen yellow eyes, and seems to brood almost everywhere. She also realizes that the young man was very strange yet familiar to her but as she tries to remember, it gives her a mild headache. In fact, with that encounter, she almost fainted but was caught by the same man, who sent her to the medical room. Although she insisted that she was okay, Gilbert sent her there nevertheless. Gilbert, on the other hand, feels familiarity upon her, yet he could not remember. They see each other in the organization everyday, until Aegistis returned back to her own family due to request of her adoptive mother. However, despite being cooped up in their manor, Aegistis continued to battle with the Illegal Contractors near their town.

As the years went by, in one of her battles against the Illegal contractors, she meets Oz and Alice who were relatively strange yet familiar to her. She also meets Gilbert once more and notes that he hasn't changed a bit.
She had heard about Oz once-the heir to the Bezarius household, who was sent to the Abyss during his coming of age ceremony and now had returned due to his contract with Alice/ B-Rabbit. Oz, on the other hand, have heard about her, yet have not seen her in person ever since. Not even in the coming of age ceremony of Oz 10 years ago where nobles and aristocrats were invited to the party. As for Alice, well, she only knew that Oz contracted her, but seems puzzled as why she is in human form instead of the dreaded B-Rabbit.

Upon being reunited with a fellow comrade, Aegistis feels a nostalgic sense towards Gilbert once more, and seems to be comfortable whenever he's around, and would even tend to cling on him sometimes. In contrast, she feels uncomfortable and queasy whenever she's in the presence of Vincent (due to his er..unusual "brother complex"), and she even almost kicked him comically, if weren't for the intervention of Echo and Gilbert.

She and Sharon are close friends, and the latter is fond of teasing the former. On one side, Aegistis and Break seemed not be on good terms, especially when the latter is also fond of teasing her (seriously, Sharon and Break love teasing her!) although he gives her some sets of advise, some nuggets of wisdom and yes, some sweets and candies. They have one thing in common: both Aegis and Break have such sweet tooth! And as for Liam...well, nothing much...he's always reminding her of the reports and other paperworks that need submission in compliance to the demands of the organization's superiors. Another reason why Sharon offers her chamomile tea everytime Aegis is working overtime sometimes and even being annoyed and mocked by the group (usually the Oz-Break tag team tandem) due to her procrastination. However, like Gilbert, she needs Liam when complaining matters- mostly about Break's teasing personality.

Upon knowing the fact that Gil had no memory prior to his past, Aegis confides that fact to him that well. She doesn't know the reason why she had forgotten it at the first place and what type of memory was it, but she was not afraid to face her past, as long as she still remains the same old Aegis. It was then that Gil admits that they almost both have a similar situation- being found by a family with an empty mind; yet he was raised to be a valet to Oz, later adopted by the Nightrays and Aegis was raised to become the child and heiress of the Hawthorne family. Aegistis smiled at this and declares that no matter what, the past remains a memory to be remembered and must not change them for the worst. This was broken due to Oz and Break ruining the moment, the former teasing Gil and hinting something else beyond "friendship".

Aegis is also afraid of cats (but not to the extent that she is phobic of them), yet is fond of other creatures, especially birds (maybe because of Basilisk, which is a snake? xD). It was her adoptive mother who gave her the nickname "Aegis".
