This is my Yu-Gi-Oh! OC, Maddisson Mutou. I feel like submitting an art of her after these many years, because she needs my attention. Anyway, here's the info below:

Maddisson Mutou. A 16 year old girl, who is Yugi's second degree cousin on the father's side. Tea calls her by her nickname "Maddie". Her family owns a pastry shop near the corner and she even works there personally to help her mother bake the cakes and other pastries and serve them to the customers. In fact she has her own costume in a form of a "maid" and sometimes, any costume with lots of lace and frills. She also duels, and her ace cards are Dark Magician Boy and Faerie Queen.

she's a sweet girl with a sweet smile, in contrast to Yugi's sweet-looking eyes, as commented by Tea.

CHILDHOOD

She and yugi had known each other back when they were little kids, although Maddisson was not that kind to him. She bullied her own cousin, made fun of him and even pranked him in school. Her attitude changed when Yugi confronted her nicely and asked her why was she acting that way, and realized that she had been mean to him and even to the other kids only to satisfy her empty and lonely expression and at the same time, an effect after she was also being bullied when she was younger by big kids who even took away her favorite doll and threw it by the river. Also, Yugi defended her from other kids in school who had planned for vengeance against her and ended up Yugi engaged in a school fight. Realizing this and her mistakes, she became friendlier to Yugi and even protected him from other kids before she left for America, her mother's homeland.

RETURN TO DOMINO CITY

A few years later, she went back to Domino city, and attended the same school with Yugi as a transfer student, without Yugi's knowledge. That's why everyone was shocked when the teacher intoduced her and Tea was even jealous of her because she winked at Yugi and even talked to him during the lunch break, thinking that she's flirting with him. Good thing, Maddisson told them that she was his cousin, thus adding another shocking news to the gang. Maddisson then notices the millenium puzzle but pays this no heed yet.

UNUSUAL ROMANCE (Relationship with Yami)

Yami's first impression of her was that he didn't like and didn't trust her, especially when Yugi told him of their past. However, he was blushing when he first saw her, and he kept on denying this. There were also times while Maddie talked to Yugi, Yami would appear beside his partner and glare at her, as if there's something "diabolical" or "sinister" behind her smiles. Yugi usually teases him romantically if he opens up a topic about Maddisson, making Yami speechless sometimes. His impression changed when he saved Maddie from being burned alive in an ablazed abandoned building caused by another person named Stephanie Ryuuga, as revenge for the fact that Maddisson was the cause of why her gang disbanded.He was touched by Yugi who was desperate to save her but found himself fainting from the smoke, so that's why he decided to rescue her instead. However, Yami collapsed after he had jumped from the building, and were then transported to the hospital. It was then in this area that Maddisson complemented on Yugi's millenium puzzle, she thinks of it mysterious yet special.
Later on, Yami decided to talk to Maddisson alone, although Yugi mistakens this as a date. They had a talk, opening up the discussion on how he had misjudged her at first sight, and the fact that he is not Yugi, Maddisson's cousin but he was a different person who calls himself "Yami". He also gave her a monster card "Faerie Queen", but this was due to Yugi's prompting.
Love bloomed between the two charas, although Maddisson seems uneasy because Yami is using Yugi's body (her cousin's body to be exact) for this might mean incest, especially to those who are aware of their relationship. However, she supported him as well, especially in recovering Yami's memories (Millenium Arc) and other adventures. Yami, on the other hand, seems awkward whenever she's around but does keep his composure.

ANCIENT EGYPT

Maddisson is the reincarnation of princess Mandisa, who had died when she attempted to shield Atem from Zork's sneak fatal attack. She was affianced to the young Pharoah (despite the fact Atem is her half-brother) and unexpectedly falls for him. Before her soul departed from her body, she promised Atem that one day in another lifetime, they will see each other again and continue "what has been unfinished".
