Description
This is a modernized Shinano, used for a new anime series I just thought up of, hopefully my squirreling will lead to High School Tankers being completed, but for now, I shall be coming up with some stuff for High School Air Force, a new anime that works similarly to GUP, but for planes. Anyways, this is the carrier that the Japanese school uses to carry its ragtag of a team of older jets around, competing in aerial combat and stunts.[update: added state of the art radar technology.]

Actaly, looking at it again, this kind of looks like a ship from my fanfic story line, the JMSDF Kazusa.

Well she the second sister of the Andromeda class (or super Yamato as everyone knows them) battleships but was converted into a full carrier like shinano and like your JMSDF one here, she has an Angeles second flight deck runway and lifts for the plains.

True, but unlike thous WWII veterans, Kazusa, her sister and six other standard Yamato class battleships were build over the span of three months, from January to the start of May in 2057 as part of "Project Morning Due".

I just remembered some other updates, but from the first draft, it didn't have side elevators like modern day carriers, but this variation does, an angled deck is obviously used here, and the casing for the catapult cables are added as well underneath the flight deck inside the ship.

I like the idea and the shinano as the protagonist's ship makes sense but for the plains, I Thought you would have chosen the Mitsubishi A6M "Zero" or (my personal favrat) the Kyushu J7W3 "Shinden".

For this ragtag team, probably an F-14, F-15. F-16 and F-2 Mitsubishi. for others, most likely the more advanced jets.

Probably not, I haven't decided. Right now I'm going to focus on my High School Air Force series, get that off the ground, and then will see what goes where afterwards.

True, to be fair what ever you come up with will probably be very close to the film or will share a number of things at the most it's difficult trying to be unique with well tank battles. I'm having similar troubles with my own arpeggio of blue steel fan fic, before you ask it's based more heavily on the manga and is using the Mediterranean fleet of the fog, it doesn't exist in the manga or the, as far as I know, the anime. Means I'm free to choose what ships I want it's coming up with an unique plot that's not directly copying any one.
