layers of white acrylic paint as the base, splatted lots of white paint over the wood canvas, then covered with yellow layers, added brown acrylic paint mixed with water to achieve certain patterns.

The texture is really cool! Reminds me about bark. The colour and the fairy are great too. It's almost like the fairy was a part of the tree.
