Rough sketched and colored ideas for the main characters of a Video Game I hope to develop in the future.

Okay, maybe its a little too much for just a rough sketch, but you can at least tell it needs some cleaning!

The game I want to try and develop is a Side Scrolling Beat Em' Up that pays tribute to all the classic arcade beat em ups that have shined in the late 80's and early 90's, from games like Double Dragon, Final Fight, Streets of Rage, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (arcade version).

So far only the center chick has a name, going by "Fang". Her specialty is WRASTLING!!! *ahem* wrestling...

She's basically the muscle of the group. The left girl is a ninja, and the guy on the right is a cop, and the 3 team up to take down a gang that has been growing in power, corruption and violence!

Awesome story huh?

Just basic arcade beat em' up stuff, nothing that innovative.

I'm more concerned with making the game function, rather than giving it an intricate story-line (plus i'm still trying to work on a good story line :/ ). Besides, a good game is almost never made on the first attempt. As my professor once quoted "You gotta make 10 bad games, before you can make 1 good one!", so I'll give it my best shot without worrying to much about it being a big hit.

A lot of my art time has been going into character designs for this game I want to make, with the rest of my time going into school work and job work (and just recently, League of Legends...)
