As bad as this is, I fear it'll only get worst for her. Up again Penny which is going to be a very bad match up no matter what, with Emerald on the field...
I wonder if Emerald isn't going to make Pyrrha think Penny is a flesh-and-blood real girl, while Cinder shuts off Penny's defenses/Aura. Audience sees robot damaged but, Pyrrha sees blood on her blade. All the better to produce panic and drive Pyrrha into mindlessly drawing out subsequently exposing the rest of the Autumn Maiden's power.

The thing is that Pyrrha doesn't have those powers yet. She was given until the end of the tournament to make her decision on whether to do it or not.

Yes, I know. Sorry if that was unclear there.
But I'm assuming that:
1) Cinder suspects that Pyrrha is the likely successor for Amber, based on the fact that she has been able to listen in on Ozpin.
2) If Pyrrha feeling extremely guilty and ashamed over what had occurred, as well as pressured by people praising her for fighting against "a dangerous robot" then she will be more likely to accept the Autumn Maiden's power, despite the risks as means of atonement.
And that will make it easier for Cinder to steal the rest.
