Well, the explanation is quite simple, really. She took off her clothes. There, I said it.

I really despise the "Hands on hips, shoulders hunched" look. All it does it make the woman look deformed.
Regardless of that, the overall theme of this shot is very neat.

Interesting. I really like the way her torso is just out of the direct light - it lets the shadows really sculpt and define her, I think.

Don't get me wrong, this work has atmosphere but while looking at it it gives me a strange feeling, that makes me want to run away and hide from that woman.
