Ohmygoodness! Darling, this is amazing!
Your shading is so spot on! Borderline realism yet keeping the charm of her character simplified~ The hints of reflections and lighting in the feathers and fur just make it so pleasant to look at. And the scarf and hooves~ HNNGGG~~~~
Well worth it, hun! Definitely looking forward to commissioning more from you in the future!
I'm totally making this my background on my laptop. *runs to images*

That's exactly what inspired to make some extra cash myself. I saw a few YCH, and they seemed to sell well as long as they had a decent background (which I still suck at drawing XD. I must ask you for some drawing tips and art studios).

*squeaks* Thank you so much, but I have such a long way to go....Backgrounds are my nemesis.

GRASS. LEAVES.
AUGH.
Well. I'm going to have to practice some backgrounds and stay away from characters for a time.
I also have issues selecting colors for shading and lighting.

There're a lot of tutorials on lighting (I think I have some in my favorite folders) What helped me the best was figuring out that whatever color the light is, the shadow is the opposite color

Oh? Does that go with lighting as well?
And also, what kind of brush do you mostly use? I have access to a pen, pencil, spraycan (aerosol), and a watercolor (sort of). I'm pretty limited in FireAlpaca.

WELP.
Just raided your favorites and found several good ones, thank you~
I'll have to experiment with making brushes to see if I find a nice tool to use.
