Description
I was asked to do some black-and-white illustration for a scifi-fantasy-horror-magazine, so I'm practising some techniques.
A4, done with a 0.1 black marker (sketching with a mechanical pencil) .

The beautiful reference picture was Gilliann's Vampire Maharet Stock .
It was actually quite a coincidence that I happened to bump into this picture, 'cause I'm currently reading Anne Rice's Novel The Queen of the Damned, which this character is from.
