WOW this is stunning. I love the contrast of the utterly realistic human face and the almost watercolored effect of the tears. They way they fall into her mouth that way, and the expression of her face just scream the word "brave"- it plays over and over again in my head. One of my all-time favorite pieces on DA. GORGEOUS!

The top right hair is over her eyebrow just seems unfinished. Also, I see a previous sketch of the pinky finger nail being larger than it currently is. Lastly the viewers left eyebrow has a line under it. Very faint but can see it. Think more time should have been invested. Don't take it personally or as a ploy to verbally attack.

I hardly think they chose this work because it was particularly good. They chose it because it somehow fitted the latest events; the Connecticut school shootings.
