Yes. I would get rotting branches he would drop in front of me. "I have brought dinner, I can hunt!". Little creatures scurrying away across the floor in panic and the branch falling apart as he dropped it. I had to look impressed. It was considered a great gift and a big achievement. Thank goodness he stopped that when he grew up!

we were given a real rat once no idea where they have found this one, our two terriers (we have a puppy girl and 2 years old boy) this is a little village and I have never seen rat here before. Rats aren't too fond of fields and forest. Still, the dogs found one and killed it very efficiently.

They just do it naturally. Terriers are very good at this
