"Masza" is "Mary", a popular name for a girl in Russia. And "Masza and The Bear" is favourite tale of Lila, who will probably get this picture for Christmas from her grandmother, our old friend. Lila's opinion of the picture will be hidden for a time, because Lila can speak about a dozen of words so far. But her Grannie says she can understand everything and she is very smart.Related content

Yes, this is a reference I got. You Tube links. I think Lila watches both version, book and YouTube when she's allowed to peep at her Mom's iphone. I don't know which she prefers. She's at the age when she can only say "Bear!" and show it with her finger.

Oh, it's too lovely! Reminds me of all those illustrations from my picture books as a child. They made my whole life and imagination what it is today and I'm sure your illustrations will do the same for children today. Magical and charming. What a lovely bear!
