I really like it! I aven't seen Alice in Wonderland quite in this style before.
I'm rather tiered of seeing Alice illustrations though... with your skill you could definatly create you own little story.

Thanks. From time to time I draw my own stories, too. But Alice is really very good story to draw. Nothing will ever stop people to draw Alice

The toned paper makes the whole scene rather ominous. i do wish there was some indication that Alice was inside.

Yes, you're right, the background is dark and it doesn't contribute to happy and sunny look . Partially this is because I wanted to try out this paper, and partially because Alice's story is not so sunny, too. I will think of version with all characters!
