I've had this one for a long time to tell you the truth (August of '05)... it was one of my drawings that was tragically lost from my last comp crashing out on me. Buuuttt... I managed to recover it and bring it back to life! *happy dance*Simba, Nala, and the butterfly were hand drawn and colored in by pencil, and everything else was layered in using a couple of my older photos. It took a little bit of blending in using paths and such, but I'm pretty satisfied. I really hope you like it. ^^

This is wonderful. Perfect style, foreshortening and bright colors. I love the cheerful and relaxed mood--Simba's expression is priceless.
Photo backgrounds for drawings like this always seem a little cheap to me, but it doesn't look too shabby here.

You really can't tell it was done in coloured pencil unless you full view it...amazing work.
Full view looks like paper cutouts in a random field with a real butterfly up there. XD
