And the meme or origin story is from a puppet show by Jeff Dunham, he has a Halloween Skeleton which has has modified to be a puppet with moving its, a beard and a turban 'Achmed the dead terrorist'.
And the sketch talks about what the puppet would do to kill someone, and then he asked (something like) "And what about me?" he then has the puppet say, with like a shrug or a snort "I would kill you for a Klondike bar".
He has six or seven puppets with their own unique personality.
