He's a sweet guy, but has a lot of toughness to him... why would DC ignore him?

well, frankly, i'd rather him be ignored than subject to hideous plot lines beacuse the authors don't know what to do with a noble but still kind of anti-heroic gay character.

He figured *very* heavily into DCs countdown thing from... last year? for other issues of Flash where he's prominent, the piper_trickster comm should be able to provide that better than me. He's currently not in anything- rumour has it that Geoff Johns really doesn't like him so he's been kind of written out for a while :T

There's alot of sadness around him lately. I'm hoping if a writer brings him back, good things happen to the character ^.^;;

Good writing and a great direction can put any character on top. I'm a Nightwing fan, so when I heard Dan Didio planned to have him killed off 'cause "who cares?" I was sad by the news. Who knew that in a few years, a writer would shape Dick Grayson into the current Batman - and he'd be popular?
Given time, someone may pick up the Pied Pipers character and do cool things. *fingerscrossed*
