Do you really think I would believe this was made in Gmod? Bah! I can see through your disguise! There's no way you can create something this good with Gmod...though you probably had photoshop...who am I kidding, nice work.

Of course I did photoshopping. Source Engine looks so shit you could never dream of doing a scene like this completely in-game.

Yeah, I don't own photoshop, so my pictures are already shit. But at least I try. You however do rather well combining Gmod posing with Photoshop effects. I probably couldn't do that.

Photoshop doesn't make pics better, it just helps with that, depending on what one is going for. The in-game lighting, posing and composition must be tip-top before any of it can be considered ready for post processing. Editing won't save a scene with fundamental flaws.
I actually use GIMP rather than PS as my editing tool, it's very handy once you learn to work around the wonky interface.

I like this a lot, this is a picture of what I'm trying to do in my own story where in war you feel helpless but even more so when giant machines with world killing power roam about with only YOU finding the remains of their victims, wreckage and ruin, blood and tears, armor and fire, you can't have one without the other ever.Β Β Β

This is without a doubt the best looking scenebuild I have ever seen. The atmosphere and the sheer sense of scale you've shown is very impressive.
I need to know, what props did you use to make this?

the BFG Armada model would've been perfect, but apparently the game is nigh impossible to get stuff from and you use what you have

This is honestly amazing! The sense of scale and just the overall build, this doesn't seem plausible in source.
