A commission for ~Mameoyashi commemorating her cat Muirgen, who passed away recently. She liked to chase her toy mice down the stairs, and wanted a "snapshot" of her kitty doing her favourite thing

Just wanted to let you know I showed my parents and they loved it. My step dad thought it was a photo and my mom thought you just manipulated a picture of Muirgen to make her look like she was jumping down the stairs. They really adored the pictures. From the people who think commissions are a waste of time and money... consider that the highest compliment they can give.

Also my friends from my gaming group (one who is one of the vets that worked on Muirgen and another who was the one who found her on the street who I adopted her from) also really adored the picture. I'm sharing it around and everyone is really loving it and saying how much like Muirgen it looks. So. Yeah. :3 Though you'd like to know.

Wow! The cat looks JUST like from a photo! seriously... the face.. it's SO realistic that it's probably even impossible to find a more realistic cat drawing O_O And the perspective is really great! Amazing job again

Haha, thank you very much! It was basically done similarly to my other fur stuff, except I managed to use more colours in the airbrushing 'cause I was working from a photo, and used a 1 pixel brush for lots of layering of scribbles on top
