No. The point was that it was supposed to be subtle. Everything she said was in fact actually implied (it just wasn't my best writing apparently and few people caught on). Nothing changed. Nothing retconned.

The issue with him, as I recall, was that he couldn't accept Rain. It would seem that he may be sincere in his apology if the word "niece" is any indication.

Well I figured that the tickets would be coming back into play with Colin in the picture again. Its been a while since we last heard of them too, it makes me wonder if she is going to have skip over it with Rain since she is in the car.

I just use a drawing tablet (Intuos5) and Photoshop. All the magic happens there pretty much. ^_^

Funnily enough, I made an RP character once that threw tarots at bad guys and they exploded with magic effects based on the card.

I actually came across the concept in SaGa Frontier. Although in that game they were spells based on Tarot Cards. Ogre Battle did something similar, as well.

Strangely, if it wasn't for the fifth panel, I would be suspecting that Fara might be "borrowing" Rain's manga, when she is not around. It might have been a nice surprise, if Fara turned out to be a closet geek. Well, she's still cool, if she isn't.
As for Colin, he does seem sincerely in his apology, or at least his attempt at an apology. So, I think he's worth hearing out. Though I don't we know what he said, so it is hard to say how bad the break up was (well, besides Fara crying).
Another strange thing, lately I am wondering if Chiaki Koizumi will turn out to be a Trans Woman. I know there are absolutely no facts that could prove or disprove it, it's just a feeling I've had lately. Though with a con, it should be a good excuse to come up with some interesting cosplay, I'm looking forward to it.

I read it in the description of the comic that Lynn had posted a link to in the description of this comic, face palmed at missing that, and didn't feel like mentioning my ignorance. Though I think when the comic of Fara and Colin having dinner together, I had not started to read the descriptions yet. "Anyway, I'm driving..." Well, at least she knows she shouldn't be on the phone. Rain has no such restrictions, of course. And yeah, at least Colin used the proper term in the conversation and he wants to fulfill that promise. This is looking pretty good so far.
I really do want to hear the characters explain the situation in their own words. Considering the timing of the phone call that resulted in the break up initially, it seems likely we know the whole story, but then again, who can really be totally sure?

Fara had to tell Colin about Rain, right? After page 263? And he didn't take it well, from what Fara said on 285. So...here he's referring to Rain as a "niece" and not a "nephew", is the key detail I'm picking up on.

I've said it a couple times, but admittedly only out of canon. I'm going to opt not to answer right now though because I'm a terrible person because it will finally be explained IN canon really quite soon. If possible, I'd much rather have the characters do the talking. ^_^
