Another of those Fair pictures from a few years back I finally found. This was one of the Best of Show winners...apparently the judges were hip to "Norman Rockwell Meets Isaac Asimov". Yeah, chubby robots tend to permeate a lot of my work. I think the ink has seeped a bit since I drew this, but given that that background is supposed to be pouring with rain - thus to mask my cruddy excuses for watercolor painting - I just decided to post it anyway.

Anyhoo, you will probably notice there are some, ah, interesting films showing back there at the Rivety Theatre: on the marquee, we have Steven Spielborg's latest blockbuster, SAPIENS PARK, on a double-bill with the newest Farrellbot Brothers comedy, RUSTY & RUSTIER. Then down the poster line there, left to right, we have for your viewing pleasure SPONGEAUSTIN SQUAREPOWERS, MEET THE JEDI PARENTS, FRIDAY THE 13TH: JASON TAKES A VACATION (I'm sure by this point in time there'd have been no need to hang on to numeric designation of the Jason movies ) , FEAR & LOATHING ON THE PLANET OF THE APES, THE LOVE BOAT ADVENTURE, and, of course, SUPERJAWS ("You will believe a shark can fly."). Yeah, sharks keep sneaking into my artwork, too.
