A robot guardian of the House of El/Fortress of Solitude, and a more ornate version of Kal-El's rocket. The idea here again is that the forward 'egg' housing baby Kal-El is the primary module and the main rocket itself is a booster module that separates on atmospheric entry over Earth, with the main module rocketing ahead toward Kansas while the booster plummets into the Arctic and sinks beneath the ice to create the Fortress so that it's already waiting for him when Clark gets there years later.
