Description This is an alternate timeline where the Germanic peoples doesnt get pushed out by the huns, and because of that the eastern and western Roman empire remains until where this map is set.

I want to thank for the support and help!

The Huns were not the only reason of decline of the Western Rome, the unpleasant climate of Western territories caused hunger and massive immigrations to Eastern territories, Western Empire was already doomed, the Huns just speed up the events a bit!

Well this map overall is very faulty, but since there were no german migrations/invasions into rome, they managed to stay alive, In my mind the Germanians and the Romans are very friendly since they see eachothers as protectors from outside threats.

Very offending once again. The region of the Netherlands was so geographically different in 950. Try to do some research next time.

Have the West and East Germanic branches melded slightly, then?Β  The language the map is in looks like a mix of Scandinavian and Low German.

The language is a mix of all the German, Swedish and English I know. Yes the people have become more and more united like you say, my idea for this was basicly a gothic central Europe (which it is) having all the germanic tribes united, but the tribes are off by quite a lot but that's because of migration during the period from it's formation, I hope you liked it anyways!Β

I can only speak for "Preussia", cause I'm from Germany. The german term would be "Preußen" (or "Preussen" if you have no "ß").

Prussia isn't Germanic, it's Prussian (baltic)

Another nice map!

Does every tribe of the pact has a capital? I assume the lack of more greater cities is because of the Germanic preference of smaller town to greater cities? I notice the lack of the large, roman based cities like Cologne at the rhine. So has this river as shortly the Elbe, never been the border between Rome and the Germanic tribes? Also Zuiderzee looks a bit too modern.

No critique, just curiosity!

Thank you!

They arent capitals necessarly, It's like you wrote that there was just a few larger cities by this time, I didnt really put any thought about that, but this map is long after the times when Rome was trying to conquer germania obviously.

Yes you're right about Zuiderzee, I really should've put more thought into this ^^
