Charlie was scrolling through his Tik Tok for you page, which was mostly filled with girls dancing around. Charlie spent most of his spare time looking through their feeds, simultaneously insulting the girls for their looks and saving the photos for later. It was an all-too-common hobby among the modern day’s youth, and one that many women on Tik Tok were familiar with.

Bella was a famous Tik Tok dancer and was all too familiar with Charlie’s type. However, it was worth noting that Bella’s fame didn’t come from nowhere. Bella was well versed in the art of persuasive induction or, as she described it to her fellow harassment victims, special recruitment. Charlie, being a particular pain in the community, Bella decided to prioritise him.

It was a rainy day, and Charlie was out doing some shopping. He’d forgotten his umbrella, so when the rain picked up, he didn’t know what to do.

“Come over here,” a familiar voice said to Charlie. It came from an umbrella. Charlie swiftly made his way over and ducked under the umbrella.

“Thanks,” Charlie mumbled, slightly shyly. Charlie was quite a shy person, but the anonymity of social media brought out the worst in him. But today his actions were about to be punished.

The stranger cleared their throat, hoping to get Charlie’s attention, Charlie turned his head to look at the kind stranger, only to be met by Bella. “Hiya there, Charlie isn’t it?”

“Y-Yes, how did you know?” Charlie muttered, somewhat bewildered.

“Oh, don’t worry about that, I’m very familiar with you, and I hear so are many other girls from Tik Tok. See, I’m here to talk to you about my special recruitment programme.”

Charlie felt very uncomfortable suddenly, “I-I don’t know about that one,” he began to back away and out into the rain. “Come to think of it, I-I actually have somewhere I need to be.”

“Ah yes, of course you do.” Bella said to herself, a smug grin coming to her face as Charlie ran off.
