That is some flat land compared to where you were. Lots of Choo-choo's there. Nice pic

Well I haven't gotten tired here yet but I know I will
I also think its about the coldest city in Canada so I will likely be ready for a move in a year or two So far, its nice to see the sky for a change!

You need a place where the mountains are to one side and the desert to the other side. That way you can go both ways and never get tired. I know Canada is cold and where you are at is really cold in the winter like it is here.
You and I have 2 seasons ... Winter and getting ready for winter.

If the mountains could be North of me I could be happy so I could see sunrise and sunset and feel the sun all day when its out. Some places in the mountains never see the sun and one whole town never sees it in winter! :0
If I had a choice I would never see winter again! I hate winter and I live in Canada!

You need to cross that border and come to the USA and move to the southwest. It is beautiful.

Can you smuggle me across?
Damn Americans want to put a fence along the entire border th keep the Canadians out
They figure we're terrorists when most of them already live in the states and won't be able to get out with all the fencing

Heard on the news a month or so ago. So that should just about use up the rest of the money your government has They sure have their priorities straight. I think if I remember it was Obama's decision

I love my country .. but hate what has happened to the system and money here. I want to pack my bags and leave sometimes, but it is bad everywhere. I loved Montreal when I was there. Maybe I can find a sweet French Canadian to adopt me.

Rail yards have been forever altered for
me, since I had a 4 year old kid.

There's something so, I dunno, full of potential
about them. They must have really stirred a hobo's blood.
But nowadays I expect to see faces on the engines:

Ahh yes
Well trains are big business here cause its the most efficient way to get our products to the coast for exporting. I'm right in the middle of Canada and its about 2,500 km to either coast from here.
Where I'm from they tore up most of the tracks on the east coast. They only have the transcontinental really. The rest are gone.

Yes trains certainly are a sound alternative to
trucking everything hither and yon.
Here in Vermont they keep trying to revitalize
passenger service but never seem to quite swing
it in anything like a profitable way.

Yes I think passenger trains are almost a thing of the past
