a friend of mine has synesthesia in a small degree and see the names of people as colours. For example my colour is something between orange and brown.

I recall myself having a similar sensation when I was a child. The name of my village/city "Collado Villalba" I saw as a three diagolal lines of dark blue in a black background. I remember that I see many names with symbols or colours but I don't remember specifically which one there were, I only remember the name of my city.

Although it doesn't happen to me so frequently I realize that I had created from that time many connections and interrelationships between words and colours.

Also, I have seen that when we are children we have many senses connected between them. When we grew up, there is a neuronal "pruning" and the bounds between neurons of different senses are cut. Synesthesia will be the fail to cut those connections.

In my point of view is not a illness (I don't know if it is defined that way) as is not a bad thing.

Your image have a very deep to me, as it has movement and warm colours and a vegetable appeareance. I like it so much
