At Ark-La-Tex comic-con, someone gave me a copy to the Avengers to do a sketch cover with, he wanted Darkseid versus the Avengers. I loved the idea and wanted to develop it further. a) I love this roster for the Avengers. b) lovely shades of Korvak and his smackdown of the Avengers. c) you handle characters in what I call a "George Perez manner." IE: When you draw them, they look RIGHT, like they always should.

I wish I had improved as an artist, as fast as Perez did. But, then, he got into the business at a time when there was a lot of room for developing artists. Not much higher praise that to be compared to George. He was the first pro I ever showed my work, way back in the early 80s, when he was doing such great work on the New Teen Titans. Super nice guy and very helpful.

I'm going to make some prints for the convention this month.
I found a brush in Manga Studio that made doing the sparks really easy. and that curly smoke brush is awesome. I;m really loving this program for coloring and special FX.
