So, after I had done the Nova cover, it occurred to me that I could sweeten the deal even more. Way back in the days of yore, when we were first testing our wings, creatively, Jeff came to school with an idea for a character called Quasar. He wore a suit that was, by today's standards, fairly embarrassing, but at the time, was all right. The helmet, he cadged from Nova, obviously, the vest-thing and boots were from The Warlord, but were nothing without the accessories, the silver studs and the jeweled arm bands that gave him star-powers, flight, etc. Imagine his horror a couple of weeks later when Marvel revamped Marvel Boy into Quasar!
