Dihya, also known as al-KΔhina (the priestess soothsayer) was a Berber queen and leader of the resistance to the Umayyad invasion of Numidia.Β She was rumored to be a sorceresses by Arab historians of the time, and to have lived a very long life before her final defeat and death sometime near the end of the 7th century.Related content
