Description Apophysis flame fractal. I wrote a new plugin "escher" based on Escher's Map (z' = z(1 + cos(beta) + i sin(beta)) / 2 ). MC Escher used this transformation in some of his artwork, particularly Prentententoonstelling (Print Gallery) [link] . This plugin will be available in the next apo-plugins release.

Really cool work and I think I actually understand the math behind it.

Good coloring is really what makes me like this one, hard to believe we have reached a point where you can almost create modeled versions of panels.
