I was going for a zombie-type look here. The ‘blood’ is chocolate syrup, which I smeared all over my face, chest and hair.
EDIT: I’m very new to Photoshop. I blacked out the eyes, darkened below the eyes to give them that sunken look, and Burned the Midtones throughout the image. I also added a texture and painted it way from the face.
Any critique would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking

thank you very much for the compliment. i'm extremely happy to hear you like the piece. and yes, i just purchased Photoshop a little over a month ago...it was a christmas present to myself. and so was my camera, for that matter. I have to thank all the artists for their tips and tutorials on photoshop, otherwise even my novice skill wouldn't be possible. thanks again!
