Description ink and white chalk on bristol (8.5 X 10 inches)

this is based loosely on an Transmission electron microscope image of a section from the mycangium of a bark beetle taken by a fellow employee, Doug Stone.

im off to do an scan it by tommorow.

I am an orchid enthusiast, and i have been studying orchids for 4 years now, until i stopped and pursued the arts.

i'll include an orchid metamorphoses in our piece, maybe your bugs will thrive with them

Yeah, I might be one of the few people in history to have adapted an electron microscope image into a somewhat surreal landscape of sorts..
