Description

Day 189.

I used to always watch The Flintstones on Cartoon Network late at night, even more so when I (very briefly) had Boomerang . They've been around for 50+ years and it's kind of weird to think of a world where people recognize John Cena over The Flintstones. I mean... dude sucks! Least interesting wrestler ever. Bam-Bam could take him out in a second.

In a few years, Fruity Pebbles and Flintstones Vitamins will be very strange products.

------

Is the entire Flintstones series on DVD? I want it.

Anyway, see ya Friday!

Did you hear that Will Ferrell is producing a new Flintsone's animated movie? I read that somewhere the other day. I guess Seth MacFarlane had been working on it, but had to self it a little while back. Could be interesting?

After I read this I went to look it up and low and behold!

Could be interesting. Will Ferrell is rarely on my good side (Anchorman 1, Elf, and Lego Movie were about it) but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt for now. Although Henchy has yet to write a movie I've liked either... oh well, better than MacFarlane and at least it's animated. Just need to hope for some good voice actors to carry it.

Indeed. Could certainly go either way.

This made me feel old. I remember the Flintstones and I'm 18. Quess I have to thank the fact that I live in what used to be the Soviet Union. We got all the old American movies and cartoons (Star Wars trilogy, Indiana Jones, Flintstones, Scooby Doo etc.) in the early 2000s.

Haha, Sorry about that!
That's pretty cool though! I grew up with all those you listed, so it's interesting to think about experiencing them for the first time when you're older. Sort of wonder if I'd have the same appreciation for Scooby-Doo and The Flintstones that I do today. Hm.

NEVER! I WILL MAKE people remember.

I loved the Flintstones. And yes the entire series is on DVD. I have it. All 5 seasons. though the first 3 are the best. When they brought on the Great Gazoo, it started to go down hill and not as funny. Favorite episodes: The Swimming pool, The Flintstone Flyer, The Piano.

Force feed them Flintstones vitamins while shouting each characters name as they eat it!

Honestly, I never minded the Great Gazoo. His episodes weren't great, but I guess when you're introduced to him early on it seems like that much less of a downturn. Kind of like listening to a great bands worst cd first.
