I had an ending with that actually! It took a while for me to be convinced to change it. Ultimately I think it was for the better, but maybe not funnier.

Β Very solid demo reel, I would however consider shortening it down abit. Only put in your absolute best work. The music maybe abit jarring too, don't let it take over your animations because afterall they are the important thing. Don't get me wrong though man, all round very excellent work!

I actually have two demo reels; this and a shorter one. All my feedback on the shorter one was that they wanted to see more. Couldn't help but just give them what they wanted.
As for the music, I understand the concern as it was a big worry of mine, one I'm still not 100% on. On one hand, I like the energy and the extra push it gives my animations. After all, the two go hand-in-hand. From what I hear, most employers will turn the volume off anyway, so at least with it I think it's more fun to watch, and if they choose to turn it off, then the animation can hold it's own. Just personal preferences, I think.

this totally deserves to be a daily deviation! This totally that kind of animation i wish to learn to do for my characters as well ^^ i plan to have own cartoon show with my characters and i always wanted to make some tribute video of them and this is totally how i would imagine it. Dude, i just adore how well animated this is, the smooth movements, well shown expressions and reactions and the design of characters of course too!
Eventhough this might sound clichΓ©, but..i hope once ill be as good in animating as you

wow very nice work! which softwares did you use? Flash?

Actually, most all of my animation is done with ToonBoom Animate. I also dabble in StopMotion Pro + Premiere, and traditional hand drawn. Β I never properly learned flash, but I want to give it another try.
