UltraScatter? What's wrong with placing the 1,000 characters one by one? It takes all the fun away!
Just kidding! This image looks great!

Thanks,
Each of the 1,000 characters need a back story and motivation on what they are doing on that street at this point in time, too.

So, that is how the intellectual complexity and emotional intensity of the characters contributed to establishing the mood of the scene. Well done!

Somehow, I knew you'd get Ultra Scatter. Fun, ain't it?

This is my first experiment with it, seems fun so far.  Still wish it was as powerful as Carrara's surface replicator

I have to learn how to use that program. I'm trying again, dove into the tutorials last weekend, but I think it might be a while before I can even find the surface replicator.

It does look like it adds much needed functionality to DAZ Studio

500 instances in DAZ Studio? Five-hundred?!? Whoa! Would be interesting to know your machine configuration (or get a link to an entry where you already explained).

the plug in is suppose to support up to 50,000 instances.  These are lowrez figures (Predatron's "Lorenzo and Loretta Bundle"). Technically there are 1000 characters, since I used 1 woman and 1 man grouped and replicated 500 times

Somehow reminds me of what the Matrix has become when Agent Smith took over.

Since I only used two different characters it does have a Matrix feel, more characters should make for a less noticeable effect.

Maybe it's not that bad. Some things can be very well done with the use of repetition and one deviation from it.

Thanks, I was able to map the characters to everything but the street with ultrascatter

Just bought it, your render convinced me to use it for my city setups

Almost life like

Though all those guys in black suits remind me of the last Matrix movie

Yeah, I only used two characters for this first test.  More variation would look better. More experiments are needed
