Description
Everything done in Blender3D. The flowers are just images as plain, grass is a hair texture, trees and clouds are particle emissions using a constant colour ramp node. Grass shadows are manually applied as the grass is an emission texture. Totoro was draw in (still inside Blender) using the grease pencil tools. I'm in the middle of animating this scene, goal is to add some wind / turbulance to the grass to make it sway ever so gently, have the cloud in the background slowly progress from left to right and animate totoro to be breathing. If it turns out well I'll upload the final rendered video to YouTube and edit description to post a link here.
