Description
Spooky forest outside my mouse at a rainy stormy night with thunderstorms.
On late Friday night October 12th 2018. I just walked outside my house and started sketching the tree's around my townhouse neighborhood. And let me tell you something, Trees can be spooky. How uncanny they twist their branches in the wind. How skeletal they look without leaves. And how scary it is to think of what creatures could possible be lurking around said trees. I even added a chain link fence at the bottom to show how big these trees are.

Another thing that I like seeing in artwork of forests, especially about ones in Halloween is that there's a lot of depth to them. While they look beautiful depending on the day or night that you see them, is that there are many things that live in forests, bugs, animals and other things that use it as a home.
From the looks of this, I really like the shading added to the sky to give it a little creepy factor to it, and the way the tree limbs are all made in various forms is what I love seeing from looking at trees in real life. The added touch of leaves and tall grass is also another plus including the fence added in.

There is a lot of good aspects going on in this image. But let me tell you what I really wanted to draw after I got this done. I had drawn the tree's outside my home because I did not have enough time. (For personal reasons.) But then! I got the idea of how to make an even creepier spooky forest image.
Follow me on this... Imagine a blood red night sky. above a sparse forest of palm trees at the beach. But these trees are not normal palm trees. These trees have lost some or most of their green palms, Some are bent in unnatural angles, And some look like they've been hacked to chunks on all sides! They all look like skeletal, dying versions of the same plant that represented Summer times with bright hot day light, fun beach resorts, and beautiful people partaking in summer activities. ...But not these trees. Something horrible has happened. But nobody knows...
I want to come back to this idea in later times.
Anywho! Glad you like my art works! Still got more days this month to work on.
