In the same way I showed my progression of my Krillin Micros a while back. I wanted to showcase the evolution of how my style has changed from when I first started making Dragonball Micros all the way to now.

With Goku, my initial plan was to make Goku in the standard style you see of most micros. The first 2 in this showcase were those initial attempts, however as I began making more characters and heights factored into my process, I decided to develop a more "Dragonball style" template. That new style stretches across different iterations of my Goku micros and ultimately changes very little other then the face became more pronounced as I continued along. For a time this was my "standard template" until we get to the last 3 iterations of Goku. In this instance, I decided I wanted to completely revamp my template and basically started from scratch in the redesign.

Originally the revamp came about during a remake of my Future Trunks micros, and the design choices I made for those micros I carried over to the revamped Goku template. As of right now I am very happy with the way this new template allows me to capture the essence of Goku and will headway future DB micro projects. Im working on a new Universe 7 T.o.P line-up so look forward to that. Thanks for sticking with me!
