Description ... I would definitely rock the vote.

Wyclef Jean... Hip-hop's Bob Dylan (in my opinion). This is the cat I was talking about when I said I should've illustrated him a long time ago. You can never front on the Fugees.

I went to go listen to Carnival the other day, and the CD was beat to shit (I found it mortally wounded under my bureau, the work of my younger son, no doubt in my mind.) Luckily, I got it from my man at work. So I decided it was time to put him in the vector world.

Thanks! Not sure really... I do it in Illustrator, so it's not really broken out by layers, you know? There are a ton of shapes though. That's wicked vague, I know, but that's me anyway.

Well you know, it's got all those teeny sub layers for EVERY shape you make. I imagine you just kinda start something and at some point just gotta lock it all down so things'll stop getting in the way. Am I right?

I took a photo of palm trees and used threshold in photoshop to make it stark black and white... I deleted the white, and used the black as a template to fill in with a brown color, then I used a green gradient laid over the top of that... Then I used a watercolor-type brush and painted the blue sky and the sand in... Then I overlayed a burlap texture over the whole thing.

Well, it made sense in my head anyways...
