My favorite Ronso!
. I created him using reference from an image I found on the web. All vector, didn't use the curve function on the pen tool at all. I wanted to create a 'blocked in' look.

Well if u didnt knew Kimahri has been remade for a game purpouse and placed inside a Warcraft III ( Blizzard's game ) multiplayer map - DoTA - Defense of The Ancients. Hes the Azwaith , Phantom Lancer. Looks are the same but hes biography is Kimahri's xD. Anyway Great and if it would be possible to write a bigger G on it then GGGGGreat work copperthistle.

I won't front at all... Auron is probably my all-time favorite FF character, and in my opinion, would ruin Sephiroth (my 15 yr. old brother-in-law and I get in this argument all the time) I made Kimahri to practice something other than skin. He's cool too, I guess.

I'd love to see Auron smear Minnie mouse against a wall with Banishing blade or something. Like he would say it's by accident, but then they'd close up on his face, and just before he pushes his glasses back up, you see him smirk or something.

Kimahri himself was done completely in vector, in flat shapes... I recently added the background and textures in photoshop though.

the execution is high quality. i like how many details you put in here. many people go with the outlines and the needfull details to make a vector. not here. i am a final fantasy fan, too. and those feathers youยดve there are awesome. i really like the execution a lot. good work here. not really creative

Thank you. yeah... the intention of this piece wasn't so much for creativity, but rather for technique. If you look closely, the linework has no curves at all. I didn't want to use the curve feature at all with the pen tool in illustrator. All the shapes are drawn in blocky. I've been using that technique since this one. I really like the outcome. Same with the Cibo Matto piece. That was more for color usage (mono) and matching tones.

Yea... I used Adobe Illustrator....It is vector-based..... Um, so I don't sound like an idiot, I'm not going to get into the technical aspects of what vector is, aside from that is the formula used by the application to produce it's visuals. (see I went off and sounded like an idiot).

Now I know what vector is... I've heard of vector based programme from my sensei before. He said, vector based programme produces sharp quality printed out image, especially the text part. (compared to using vector-less programme) ^^;; Adobe Illsutrator, I have that programme. Though, never bothered to use it. +_=; quite confusing!
