They vary...I like to spend 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours on the studies.

This portrait is a little bigger than the Daily's...there is about 3-4+ hours in it!

The smaller 5" x 7" studies are from 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours ..sometimes...a little longer. I'll finish the bigger pieces in about 4 + hours but spend a couple of days looking and making small revisions.
