Most of my portraits are about 11" x 14"...so they fit into a 16" x 20" frame, the thumbnails when I do them are usually 5" x 7".

You know how to handle the pastels for sure. Would love to know the story behind this piece. How big is it? Do you work with pictures for reference. Please give your fans some more information!

This 11" x 14" piece came about as I was experimenting with various
approaches to developing portraits. The painting was developed from a sketch of a gentleman that model for me. I do work from photo's quite often but prefer
live models!

Thank you for explaining, taking the time for that. I think it would be great if you put such kind of information in your descriptions in the future. I am sure your viewers would appreciate that just as much as I do!

Sometimes I'm never for sure of what folks might like to read and sometimes there really isn't much to say

I am sure folks like to read about your process and sizes and some background about the image. That is at least what I expierienced. And even if I would be the only one (which isnt so), you've got a good reason LOL!
