J.C. the Hybrid's Origin Chapter Five

After Ivo Robotnik lost his job at G.U.N., the Commander gave the construction of the Roboticizer to Barbara and John, hoping they would have it reprogramed so it can be used for medical purposes. As for Ivo, he disappeared. Since that day, he is yet to be seen. One week came and went since Ivo Robotnik disappeared. As for Barbara and John, they built a robotic arm for John so he can help work on the Roboticizer more and since then, they've been getting it done quicker. Before long, they have just finished the Roboticizer and were about to test it out on an injured G.U.N. Soldier who has suffered serious injuries from a vehicle explosion.

Barbara: You think we got the settings for the Roboticizer right?

John: Let's hope so. We don't want a repeat after what happened with Ivo.

They started up the Roboticizer and it starts to hum. It scans the soldier's body and begins to repair it. Most of the soldier's damaged body was replaced with robotic implants. The Roboticizer even went as far to install robotics into the soldier's own brain. Soon, the Roboticizer finished, and the soldier walks out.

John: Did it work?

(The soldier looks at his cyborg body and nods, knowing that it was a success)

Barbara: It works.

Barbara and John knew the Roboticizer was a success. They figured Ivo Robotnik would be proud of it, even if he lost his job because of his actions. The next day, it was introduced to the public and eventually, transferred to hospitals. Since then, the Roboticizer has been saving a lot of lives, humans and mobians alike. J.C.'s family was earning a lot of money since the success of the Roboticizer, although there was still one thing they missed: J.C. the Hybrid.

One night, Barbara and John were asleep when a white light glowed in their bedroom. They looked to see a man in white clothes. He walks towards them.

Man: Barbara... John...

The female hedgecat and male hedgebat opened their eyes and were shocked at what they saw. The both of them nearly fell out of bed.

Man: My apologies. I didn't mean to startle you.

Barbara: Who are you?!

The man pulls back his white hood and the two mobians were breathless at what they saw.

Both: Jesus?

Jesus: Surprised to see me?

John: Are you kidding? We're amazed to see you in front of us!

Jesus: My father and I have been watching you. Both of you and your family.

Barbara: Then... you probably know about...

Jesus: Your son, J.C.? I know. And I also know the both of you have been working hard to help, promising to never leave his side.

John: It's true...

John looks at his bionic arm. It was black and cobalt blue. He had it built after the Roboticizer exploded and Ivo lost his job.

John: Our friend, Ivo... he almost made us turn people into weapons.

Jesus: It's not your fault. He almost tricked the both of you, but you both made the right decision.

John: Yeah, and it cost me my arm.

(Jesus places a hand on John's shoulder)

Jesus: I know you're both heartbroken about everything that's happened. Sometimes, it's better to find out the truth now before it's far too late.

John: We only did this for our son.

Jesus looks at J.C. seeing him asleep in the medical chamber.

Jesus: Your son would've understood. I'm sure you did what both of you had to.

Barbara: He's in a coma and we'll probably never see him again.

Jesus: Not quite. Your son is alive.

Both: Say what now?

Jesus: J.C. is alive. In fact, he's up in Heaven training.

John: For what?

Jesus: Something I've come to warn both of you about.

Jesus held out his hand and the room around them turns red. They looked to see a landscape brought to a barren wasteland. Their home was in ruins and there was fire all around it. Then, they saw the entire family on the ground with severe injuries.

(Barbara and John were horrified)

John: What is this?

Jesus: I'm showing you that there is a great evil coming.

Barbara: What great evil are you talking about?

Jesus: Do you remember the story of Lucifer?

John: Yeah, we know that he used to be an angel, until he was exiled from Heaven.

Jesus: Well, he has created a being from his demonic energy.

Barbara: What are you talking about?

Jesus held out his hand and shows them a couple of emeralds. One was gold with a silver cross on it and the other one was silver with a gold cross.

John: What are those?

Jesus: These emeralds were created from heavenly energy. Only those who are purest at heart can wield them. The gold one with the silver cross is called "Angelic Emerald" and the silver one with the gold cross is called "Purity Emerald". I want you both to find these emeralds. They'll help you prepare for a great battle that's coming.

John: Why us?

Jesus: Because you and your family are shown to have good hearts and will help those in need.

Barbara: This is a lot to take in.

Jesus: I know. Your son is going to be training in Heaven with me. There's a great evil coming, and he should be ready when it comes.

John: We understand. But, what about this being you mentioned?

Jesus: His name is C.J. the Hybrid. Created from Satan's demonic energy, he's waiting to be revived by someone with pure evil in them. He's locked away in a black emerald called, "Demonic Emerald".

Jesus held out his hand and a cave appeared. Inside of it was a black emerald with a red pentagram on it.

Barbara: Whoa. This is shocking to see.

Jesus: Indeed. Ironically, the "Angelic Emerald" and the "Heavenly Emerald" are in that same cave. I want you both to find them.

Barbara and John looked at each other. Could what the Lord be saying to them is true? A great evil is coming, and these gems may be the only hope they have. And what of their son? If J.C. is in Heaven training, then it's looks like they have no other choice. Nodding in agreement, they look at Jesus and said three words.

Both: We'll do it.

Jesus: Then, it's settled. I wish you both the best of luck. And don't worry, I'll be watching over you of you and your son.

Jesus then held out his arms and with a bright light shining over him, he disappears into the light.

Barbara: So, what's the plan now?

John: We'll need some help.

Meanwhile, up in Heaven, J.C. woke up in a white room.

J.C.: Where am I?

He looks around and sees a gate ahead of him. Getting up, he walks towards it and knocks on it.

J.C.: Hello?

The gate slowly opens, and a man walks towards it. When he got close, that's when J.C. realized who it was.

J.C.: Jesus?

Jesus: Hello.

J.C.: Wait, am I in Heaven?

Jesus: Come with me.

J.C. follows Jesus as they walked through Heaven together.

Jesus: The good news, J.C. is that you're not dead. You're still alive.

J.C.: Well, that's good, right?

Jesus: The bad news is your body is damaged.

J.C.: Say what now?

(Jesus held out his hand and shows him)

J.C. gasps at what he saw. He saw himself in a medical chamber with a oxygen mask over his mouth and bandages over his right eye, right arm and left leg.

J.C.: No...

Jesus: Like I said, your body may be damaged, but you're not dead.

J.C.: Then, why am I in Heaven?

Jesus: I brought you here because I need your help.

J.C.: With what?

Jesus shows him a ruined landscape and shows his family injured from a huge fight. J.C. was horrified at what he saw.

J.C.: What is this?

Jesus: A vision. A vision of a great evil coming.

J.C.: What?!

Jesus: There is a being created from Satan's demonic energy. His name is "C.J. the Hybrid" and soon, he will be awoken from his long slumber.

J.C. How?

Jesus: He is locked away in a gem of demonic energy known as the "Demonic Emerald". Locked away in a cave, waiting to be freed.

J.C.: What does this have to do with me?

Jesus: Long story short, I brought you here because I want to train you to be ready for when he comes.

J.C.: But, why me?

Jesus: After you saved those kids from a burning church, my Father sensed good in you, and we agreed to make you into a warrior of Heaven. That's why I brought you here: To train you into becoming a warrior of Christianity.

J.C.: Let me get this straight. You and God want me to become a warrior of Christianity because I saved those kids, and you want me to be ready for when C.J. the Hybrid awakens and comes for me?

Jesus: Yes. Do you wish to let me train you and bring peace to the world?

Jesus held out his hand, offering J.C. to take it. J.C. thought about it for a moment. If what Jesus was saying to him is true, then his family may need his help. J.C. then smiles and held out his hand.

J.C.: For you, the Son of God, I'll do it.

Jesus and J.C. shook hands and they walked off together. J.C. and his family knew they have a lot of work to do for when C.J. the Hybrid comes and when he does, they'll be ready for him.
