Description
This is my Fallout 3/New Vegas creation, the Cathedral of Alexander Nevsky, situated in Washington DC in a neighbourhood called "Little Saint Petersburg".

It's interior is based off the Ark & Dove cathedral in the Fallout 3 DLC 'Point Lookout'. I added a retextured version of the interior dome of the US Capitol Building to create the Orthodox dome as this cathedral was originally a Western design. I couldn't think of a good place for my character to be in Washington DC as it's so "American" being the capital of the USA and New Vegas is too Deserty, so I decided to create my own worldspace called "Little Saint Petersburg" a little Russian Immigrant neighbourhood like in many major US cities like Boston where Leonard Nimoy aka Spock from Star Trek grew up in a Ukrainian Immigrant neighbourhood. It's isolated from the rest of the DC Ruins by a metro tunnel, the metro tunnel itself is caved in however the side utility corridors contain access too and from the neighbourhood, which is controlled by residents of that neighbourhood.
