Yes, I wish it moved around more, yes I wish it had more screen time, and yes, I wished it had been harder to defeat and had put up a more impressive fight, but in terms of it's aesthetic and overall design it looks delightfully disgusting and horrific. I prefer this over what we got in the remake.

One thing that made the miniseries creepier than the remake is if I saw new pennwise as a six year old I'd call for adults but if I met the old one I might approach him and start talking to him, though he'd have to appear in an appropriate setting like a carnival, theatre, amusement park or holiday resort otherwise I'd still be suspicious and very wary. But it would have been infinitely worse to see a nornal, vibrant clown with a kid-freindly design mutilating people. It would make a jarring contrast and feel worse. Because the new pennwise looks demonic it kinda removes the creepy clown feeling.

Well done! Many people don't like the 1990 version's spider form, and thus, there isn't much artwork of it. I think that's just sad, because the creature has a really ingenious design. I personally like it a lot. It's not supposed to be a gigantic spider, but a spider-like being, a metaphor of fear. A mix of arachnid, humanoid, reptilian and plain old monstrous physical traits. The organic muscle folds and stripes that are lizard-like, the abdomen that works like a deadlights projector, the fact that the first pair of legs are actually arms with three-fingered hands and shoulder panels of chitin that look like organic armor, the head that, like a humanoid head, has jaws and a neck, and only two eyes (as opposed to four, as on real spiders) that sit in what look like permanently opened jaws, the fin-like or horn-like protrusions on the head, and so on. It's not something you see every day. The only problem (and main reason why people don't like the 1990 version) is that it's done with practical effects and because of the budgetary, time and physical constraints of the prop, it looks like a gigantic puppet. If it were done with more modern technology like CGI, the creature could've moved in a very agile manner around the Losers, kinda like a boss in a videogame, which would've made it imposing and scary, and its strength would've been conveyed much better. For example, many people wondered WHY Eddie died when the spider lifted him up (the very scene you've used as a reference in your drawing). The explanation is simple - the creature lifts him up and squeezes him, and because of how strong it is, it crushes his rib cageΒ and wounds him mortally, but it was filmed so poorly that you can't tell. They didn't use fake blood to stain Kaspbrak's clothes as it's leaked out of his crushed torso underneath, hell, they didn't even put a cracking sound when the spider squeezed him. Shame. I salute you for doing this.

The monster in cgi i could only be less scary. Cgi doesnt work on a full body creature in a horror Film. Cgi can help to make some actors or props looking scarcer, like black Fog arround, or waving hair, but a full cgi monster is less scary. Thats why "iam legend" isnt scary. The infected people as real touchable actors could do a so much better Job than these cgi egg heads
