Yes, she's gazing into the river and a leaf is floating by. Also, for me anyway, adding movement makes the panel more interesting to do, so most days are windy

I love the effects. Vera looks like a ghost, in every single panel, as if she was in a different dimension than Snape...

I know, isn't it brilliant? Sayu did this panel, largely this page in fact. I think the last panel is one of the best so far, it really captures Vera's isolation and sadness.
