Description Thought I'd put this little process layout together for you guys who are wondering how I do my pages.

Step 1. I read from a sample script, and do a little thumbnail sketch to layout the main idea for the page.  Making sure all the shots are established, read well, and tell the story.

Step 2. I then scan that little thumbnail sketch, and bring it into photoshop where I can blow it up to a bigger size.   In doing this, I'm able to keep the energy I had in the small layout and add the details needed.  Sketching out everything and defining the characters and environments more, and the page is ready to be inked.

Step 3. Using my Pigma microns, or Touch liner inking pens. I define the characters, finalizing the art with each stroke.  I also use some brush pens to add texture.

Step 4. Once everything has been inked. I take the page back into photoshop for any clean up that is needed, and also add that extra bit of effects.  Now when thats done, the page is finished.

Hope this helps guys.  I'll be sure to post more art soon.

God bless!

-Joey
