Inspiration from Sheryl Crow's song "My Favorite Mistake"

A little drabble to explain~

Mako and Korra are "Married" but Korra finds out Mako has been unfaithful and has been seeing Asami. After finding out, she confides in Bolin to help cheer her up and eventually falls in love with him. As painful as it seems, she spends alot of time secretly meeting with Bolin while still being with Mako (For reasons unknown for the moment XD)
The jist of the story (and inspiration) was that if it had not been for Mako's "Mistake" Korra would not have realized her true feelings for Bolin, thus making it her "favorite mistake"
