Commissioned by writtendark : Eight and Charley Pollard watching a sunset (on an alien planet - I added that last bit).
I couldn’t help but imagine what they are talking about while I was drawing this picture, so here it is.
- I thought green stars couldn’t exist, Doctor.
- Yes yes yes Charley but look, the star is actually blue! It’s the planet’s atmosphere which gives the sunset this rather unusual colour.
- Oh. I see. …Doctor?
- Yes?
- Is that carpet really necessary? We could have left it in the TARDIS.
- I’m afraid not. The soil is particularly toxic here.
- Oh, that’s perfect. Once again, you’ve brought me somewhere horrible where we could die at any moment. Thank you, Doctor.

- …The sky is very beautiful, though.
