Description
This was supposed to be a quick black nd white sketch while i was on my break at work, but my friend kept bugging me to color it, and surprisingly it didnt take that long lol, maybe im getting faster
Anyway this is Joe, Drake's big bro and heroe, raised and took care of him, hes gonna save Drake alot of times through out his story, and his objective is to kill a certain person I can't reveal yet or else it ruins the story lol

I truly love your artwork. It shows great effort and detail that you put in. I'm going to come right out and admit that I'm inexperienced with manga/anime and with digital art as a medium, but I'll try
The first thing I have to say is that I love the background and the colour gradient, and what makes this even better is that the background compliments the focal image. I have seen digital art where the drawing itself is good, but then the background distracts from it or is poorly executed, but that's not the case here. The reds and purples work well with the purple shades used for the image of Joe. I like the way you've kept the colouring of him simple, sticking to one colour, even for his face and hair which is a purpley-brown. The one thing I would say is that perhaps you might want to soften some of the shadows on his clothing a little, even just on one edge (but again that may be a style thing, so feel free to disregard).

The coloring is sort of rushed that's why it looks a little rough in those areas, but I do agree that smoothing it out would be better.

I like your style. It's very cool and sleek. The blues in the clothes and the top of the page conrast nicely with the warmer colors at the bottom, and they give it a smooth feel.
And, for the sake of being redundant... the background's incredible.

The character design is very nice! I like especially his afro and his clothes! The pose is also nice chosen. The anatomy is okay. Just his hand looks a bit clumpy. Maybe it would be good to do use some references here.
The choice of colors is also very nice! Just one little tip here: Try to blend the transitions e.g. the ones on his coat. This will make it look more naturally! 
The background looks interesting and fits to your character. I think it would represent your character more if you would put him in a typical environment where he goes very often or where lives. But this not really necessary. Just another tip!
