If this is not already committed to someone/something, would you consider licensing this (exclusive/non-exclusive) for use as an indie ebook/print book (and related themed materials in coordination with the book--website, etc.). If so, please let me know your prices, etc. Can't promise I could afford you if you'd be willing to grant me such rights, but I could try. Excellent work!

LunaCarminus [2012-10-12 01:57:12 +0000 UTC]

Very interesting; I really like the concept. Just a few suggestions: there seems to be quite a bit of white space, which appropriately suggests the bright, sterile light of something like a lab, but with the sleeping figure angled lower left to upper right, it also draws the eye away from the girl's face, which seems to be the focus of the picture. Perhaps adding more wires or more hair? Or even a hint of shadow to the background? Also - and this is minor - are the wires connecting to her head or coming from it? What's causing her face panel to lift up just a little? It seems that if the panel has to be opened for the wires, it would be raised a bit higher or removed entirely (thinking of computers)?

I think this is very creative photo editing overall. Nice work!

First the technique and quality-I think it's very good, the lighting is correct that everything is good to see, like in a real hospital. Than the originality-I find the subject interesting and apart. For me, personally maybe a little bit to creepy and 'mechanic'

Wow. This one is amazing i just love it. the simplicity, the concept. The only thing i would recommend is making the wires in the head look more realistic and shiny . LOVE IT!

paintausea [2012-03-15 16:01:21 +0000 UTC]

An interesting concept. Reminds me of the cyberpunk style. I don't think I'll be sleeping tight wtih wires stuck to my head and face haha.
Though thinking about it, if this is infact an artificial human... giving a robot adequate rest? Maybe it's like putting your pc on sleep mode.
I'm just ranting here actually. The white touch makes everything seem lke we're in a lab. Maybe you could play with some overlay colors next time to give it a more sci-fi feel to it. Just a suggestion. It isn't that necessary in this picture though. A job well done.

:icongimmefeeback:

I found your picture because it is very outstanding altough I haven't seen her inner parts first^^
I like the idea very much; the combination of the girl sleeping and looking like she can't harm anybody and the comes the sci-fi part! it looks like she's from another world but still it looks very realistic!
you did the cut out very well and the shadows look perfect too!

all in all a very good and interesting picture!

Passing by through

I loved this the moment I saw it. Beautifully done.

Some advice, hope it helps. I saw someone mention something about adding more hair. Maybe at the right hand top. Not necessary really but an idea. If this was my work I would add little things to make it more intresting like scissors, pliers, wires etc in the top white part. I would create intenser light and shadows on her face and beneath her body. Maybe let some of the wiring come back on her body or make glowing tubes etc. Maybe you could see the end of the bed and see some of the background. So erase some of the white and make a futuristic surroundings visible. Just some ideas to maybe make it more intresting.
But what I would try to play around with is color. What mood do you want to set? Is it scary, sad? Use colors to convey those feelings more strongly. See [link]

A lovely piece and I think you did an incredible job. Love the details underneath her face and how her face lifts up. Very cool.

Hope I could help a little.

Hey tamaraR, thanks for stopping by and providing such a detailed feedback. It's very appreciated

I think your suggestions are great ! It would have been interesting to do that yes.
For this piece, I wanted something light and sober. Her expression is quiet and calming, I wanted to match this feeling by keeping it pure and simple. And that's why the colors are subtle and toned down.
I did another piece with a lot of details [link] as you like it, but I think it's a bit too over loaded.

And thanks for the link, it will be of great help

Gorgeous, visually stunning! <3

I love the concept, the lighting, and the angling. You're very talented.

I'm racking my brains for any kind of improvement for you.. perhaps you could have made the hair stand out more, be brighter or something...? That's all I can see, although it's not even a flaw at all. Honestly, this is basically perfection. Many, many kudos to you!

It was brighter and more saturated, but I preferred to make it less intense, so it would fit the mood better.
